On behalf of the organizing committee of the Tunisia-Japan Symposium TJS 2020 “Materials for Sustainable Development: Fundamentals & Applications”, we have the great pleasure to invite you to participate to this edition that will be held from 11 to 13 March 2022 in Hammamet (Tunisia).

This edition is organized jointly with the Research and Technology Centre of Energy (CRTEn), the National Centre of Research in Materials Science (CNRSM), the Borj-Cedria Technopark Management Company and the University of Tsukuba (Japan).

We rely on your participation to make this symposium a success with a high scientific level.

We look forward to meeting you at TJS 2020 in Hammamet in Tunisia.

Abstract submission deadline extended: November 15, 2021.

Important Announcement

Dear authors, we would like to inform all participants from far away countries who are planning to participate in the symposium however they are hesitant to come to Tunisia, that they have the option of presenting their contribution through Skype or through video recording send to the organization committee.

Only participants who have registered for the conference will have their papers published in the e-proceedings and in the international journals cited below (after revision).

About TJS 2020

Nowadays Science and Technology of materials and Nanomaterials are of prime importance in our societies. In this context, the CRTEn and CNRSM in collaboration with the University of Tsukuba organize the Tunisia Japan Symposium 2020 (TJS-2020), which will be held from 11 to 13 March 2022 in Hammamet (Tunisia).

The main objective of this symposium is to discuss new perspectives on materials and nanomaterials and their applications in diverse fields such as energy, biotechnology, water, biomedicine, etc. Another objective is to bring together academics, students and experts to exchange experiences, improve their knowledge and discover new ideas in the fascinating field of materials.

The symposium also offers a multidisciplinary platform to present and discuss the most recent innovations and practical challenges encountered in this vast field. The symposium includes informative lectures, plenary lectures and round tables. Academics and industry professionals who will attend this event will have great opportunities to network and forge new partnerships.

We hope this symposium will be productive and up to your expectations. We wish you all a pleasant time in your country “Green Tunisia”.
